Karba, 471 01

The interesting viaduct was built in the village named Karba in 1898.

At its time, the construction of the railway posed a threat to the nature preserve at the locality of Peklo and the Excursions-Club (tourist club) and Earl Kinsky (the owner of the land) put through a project for a viaduct to arch over the valley of the village named Karba. The railway was put in operation in December 1898. The steel railway bridge with vaulted arches is 209 metres long and 24 metres high. A proposal was made to declare the structure the technical monument.
