City Museum and Gallery in Lomnice nad Popelkou

The Museum presents folk art and ethnographic expositions. We will find permanent expositions there covering the history of the Lomnice Region, Ethnography, Mineralogy, Zoology and the Monument of the Šlechta family; exhibitions and lectures are also given there.

 

Dubecko Lookout Tower

The lookout tower on the top of Dubecko was set in operation in December 2001. It is used by mobile operators as well.

 

Church of St. Peter and Paul, Semily

Lomnice nad Popelkou Chateau

A Baroque chateau from the 18th century, rebuilt from the Renaissance Valdštejn chateau on the site of a former Gothic fort by the Counts of Morzin.

Museum of Dolls and Teddy Bears

The Museum of Dolls and Teddy Bears below Trosky Castle is the only museum of this kind in the Czech Republic. On the exhibition premises of 300 m2 you will find about 1,000 exhibits.

 

Ruins of Rotštejn Castle

Rotštejn is a ruin of a rock castle founded before 1300. It is located at the southeastern part of the Klokočské Skály.

The Museum is located in the house where Ivan Olbracht was born.

 

Town museum in Rovensko pod Troskami

The exposition of the City Museum focuses especially on stone grinding. We will find three grinding tables here, an abrasive wheel, ground stones, the guild flag and other exhibits.

 

Wooden belfry in Rovensko

The wooden belfry in Rovensko pod Troskami is the town\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s most important tourist attraction. It is situated outside the Church of St. Václav and was built in 1630.
